About the Role
We are seeking a motivated, talented, and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our growing team. As an Electrical Engineer at Engenuity, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects, including hotels, hospitals, multi-family, retail, and industrial buildings. You will be an essential part of our team, contributing your expertise and creativity to helping our clients.
Key Responsibilities
• Project Management: Manage and coordinate electrical engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
• Design: Prepare detailed engineering plans, calculations, and specifications for various electrical engineering projects.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all electrical projects adhere to local, state, and federal regulations and permits.
• Client Interaction: Collaborate with clients to understand their project needs and objectives and provide regular updates on project progress.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with our interdisciplinary team of engineers to deliver integrated and sustainable solutions.
• Quality Control: Conduct quality control checks to ensure the accuracy and integrity of project deliverables.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements to incorporate cutting-edge technologies into project designs.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, but not required, or the ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe
2+ years of electrical engineering design experience
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to learn quickly, work independently and as part of a team
